Hal Seller Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Hal Seller Program. These Terms and Conditions govern your registration and participation as a seller on the Hal platform. By registering, you agree to comply with these Terms, our policies, and all applicable laws.

2. Eligibility

• Sellers must be legally registered businesses with a valid GST number.
• Individuals under 18 are not permitted to register as sellers.
• Products listed must fall under agricultural and allied categories only.
• Sellers must provide accurate company, product, and contact information.

3. Seller Obligations

Sellers agree to:

• Ensure product quality and safety in compliance with Indian laws.
• Upload clear product images and accurate descriptions.
• Provide timely customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain stock availability and update product details regularly.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Selling counterfeit, expired, or harmful agro-products.
• Providing false or misleading information.
• Engaging in fraudulent or illegal trade practices.
• Violating intellectual property rights of others.

5. Pricing & Commission

Sellers are free to set product prices, subject to compliance with government regulations. Hal may charge a commission on sales. Commission structure will be notified separately and may vary based on product category.

6. Payments

Payments to sellers will be released within 7 to 14 working days after successful delivery and buyer confirmation. Sellers must provide valid bank account details. Hal is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

7. Delivery & Logistics

Sellers may use their own logistics or Hal approved logistics partners. All shipping costs and responsibilities must be clearly agreed upon at the time of order placement.

8. Warranties & Returns

Sellers must provide warranty information (if applicable). In case of defective or damaged goods, sellers must accept returns in compliance with Hal return policy.

9. Data Privacy

Sellers agree that Hal may collect, process, and use their personal and business data for operational and legal purposes in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Hal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Seller participation is at their own risk, and Hal total liability shall not exceed the total commission earned in the last 3 months.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Hisar, Haryana. Sellers agree to first attempt amicable settlement before pursuing legal remedies.

12. Termination

Hal reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or poor performance.

13. Amendments

Hal may update these Terms from time to time. Sellers will be notified via email or platform updates.
